What an amazing adventure! When Marandan & Thomas first contacted me it was just for engagement photos since they hadn’t nailed down what they wanted for the wedding yet! Soon talks of the Maldives, Australia, and Puerto Rico were up in the air. After a little research and narrowing things down the ultimately decided to head to Greece!
If you know me at all, you know I love to travel! So I was of course on board to make the journey.
They “honeymooned” all over the country and I met up with them in the middle of the trip in Oai, Santorini, Greece. Still one of the more beautiful places I have ever traveled. Marandan and Thomas were married on the terrace of their hotel room overlooking the Sea of Crete. Afterward, they got in their comfy clothes for a little snuggle sesh. Once the sun went down a little, Marandan slipped back on her dress from Monica’s Bridal and we headed out to the Red Sand Beach on the southern part of the island for photos. Once we hiked out a bit a big storm rolled in! But they were cool as cucumbers, we decided to drive north to try to escape the rain and boy did it work! And the storm supplied us with some of the most stunning and dramatic skies!
They ended the night with dinner and fireworks back at their hotel room! It was a truly magical day.
Once we were back stateside the couple had a reception for friends and family at The Turnbull Building in downtown Chattanooga. May Flowers did the place up with blooms and white pillar candles. Everything was gorgeous from start to finish! It was a total honor to be trusted with such an important season in their lives.
