When Hannah & Julien booked me to photograph their wedding they wanted to sneak in an engagement session almost immediately! Often my schedule can be pretty stacked months in advance but I had an opening that Friday so we went for it! We only had a few days to plan and things really didn’t come together until the day of the shoot. They chose to start at this double-decker bus on Main Street and I suggested sculpture fields. It was early January but that Chattanooga Southside weather was totally on our side. It had been raining for months around here and we got this gorgeous golden sun!
When we wrapping up at the Sculpture Fields I asked how they felt about pizza… it was an OH YES! I love getting a good mix of gorgeous portraits, iconic landscapes, tons of candids and that real real ZA TO THE FACE! Your engagement session should feel like a really fun slash strange date night rather than a chore. I love helping my clients plan their photoshoots but I think its always important to let the night lead the way.
