Katie & Gordon’s Stylish Wedding at Hunter Museum, Chattanooga

Katie and Gordon brought their A game for this one! This Chattanooga wedding was doused in style and emotions and I wish I could shoot it again and again! From Gordon’s two-toned tux to the layers of floral patterns, everything about this wedding was perfection.

Katie and Gordon’s wedding was nothing short of magical, and I had the privilege of capturing their special day at two of the most iconic locations in Chattanooga. From the very beginning, their love for detail and style was evident, making this wedding an absolute joy to photograph.

One of the standout features of the day was Katie’s custom-made dress. I couldn’t get enough of its elegance, especially that stunning gold detail and the perfectly designed belt. It was the perfect blend of unique and timeless, truly one-of-a-kind. Katie’s fashion choice added a sophisticated yet personal touch to the wedding, making her feel like a true bride.

The ceremony at Patten Chapel on the University of Tennessee campus was breathtaking. The chapel, with its natural light pouring through the windows, set the perfect stage for a heartfelt exchange of vows. The simplicity of the altar, adorned with beautiful candles, created such an intimate atmosphere. I couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque backdrop for capturing these precious moments.

Following the ceremony, we made our way to the Hunter Museum of Art for the reception, and it was a perfect transition into the evening. The cocktail hour on the 24-hour deck, complete with live music, set the tone for an incredible celebration. I loved having the chance to take Katie and Gordon around the museum for some post-ceremony portraits. You could feel the excitement and joy radiating off them, that unmistakable “Just Married” glow.

As I scrolled through the photos, I couldn’t help but smile at the pure happiness captured in each moment. Their downtown wedding day was full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories—truly an amazing celebration at two of Chattanooga’s most beautiful venues.
